Abstract The article examines the role of social and labor relations in the system of managing the socio-economic development of business entities in the agricultural sector. The impact of social and labor relations on the development of enterprises is determined and it is proven that the development of social and labor relations contributes to an increase in the level of social stability in collectives, which has a positive effect on the results of the activities of enterprises. The article determines that the efficiency of the functioning of enterprises largely depends on the level of development of social and labor relations, which form the basis of interaction between employers, employees and the state. It has been established that the development of social and labor relations contributes to increasing labor productivity, the competitiveness of enterprises, the formation of a favorable socio-psychological climate in labor collectives, and ensuring sustainable socio-economic development. It is substantiated that the management of social and labor relations at the enterprise level involves the implementation of a set of management measures aimed at ensuring effective interaction between participants in the labor process, and its key elements are identified. A model of the influence of social and labor relations on the socio-economic development of an enterprise has been formed, which demonstrates the relationship between the development of social and labor relations and the economic efficiency of the enterprise. It is substantiated that the state plays an important role in the formation of an effective system of social and labor relations, since it determines the regulatory and legal principles for regulating labor relations, forms social policy and creates institutional conditions for the development of social dialogue. The main directions of improving the management of social and labor relations are identified, in particular the development of social partnership, the introduction of modern mechanisms for motivating labor, increasing the level of social protection of employees and the development of human capital. A conceptual model of the influence of social and labor relations on the socio-economic development of business entities is proposed.
