The Collection accepts for publication exclusively original scholarly works that have not been previously published, are not under review by other journals, and comply with generally accepted principles of academic integrity. Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy of citations and the lawful use of the results of other researchers.
Each submitted article must be original and free of plagiarism, and must include properly formatted references to all sources used. Detailed types of plagiarism are set out in the COPE ethical guidelines and in the publication "10 Most Common Types of Plagiarism (and How to Avoid Them)".
All submitted materials are checked for textual borrowings in databases and on the Internet using StrikePlagiarism.com (Plagiat.pl) software.
The assessment is based on the following criteria:
Any form of plagiarism is regarded as a violation of scholarly publication ethics and constitutes grounds for rejection of the manuscript. The editorial board considers each situation individually. If borrowings are identified at any stage prior to publication, the authors are notified and requested to revise the relevant passages or properly format the references.
If borrowings are identified after the article has been published, the editorial board conducts an editorial review, informs the authors of the results and, where necessary, takes measures in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy, guided in particular by COPE recommendations.
