| Abstract | The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the transformations in Ukraine's agricultural production in the context of full-scale war and the resulting structural, resource, and market imbalances. It has been determined that the loss of about 20% of agricultural land, the reduction in the number of qualified personnel due to mobilization and migration, the destruction of the material and technical base, and the logistical crisis have significantly reduced the production potential of the industry. Based on statistical data, the scale of land redistribution among economic entities, the dynamics of sown areas, changes in the structure of crop cultivation, and trends in livestock development have been assessed. It is shown that commodity producers were forced to adjust their technological solutions, reduce the resource intensity of production, and reorient themselves to the domestic market in response to the high volatility of export logistics. Special attention is paid to investment processes, the level of renewal of fixed assets, and the scale of direct and indirect losses in the agricultural sector. Key constraints on the development of market infrastructure are identified, including a shortage of storage facilities for products, rising costs of elevator services, and low transport route capacity. The paper outlines the role of state and international support, including visa-free trade with the EU and targeted assistance programs for small producers. It formulates directions for improving the sustainability and efficiency of the industry: optimising logistics, developing the processing and export of value-added products, intensifying cooperation, improving staffing, expanding access to financial instruments, and modernising the material and technical base. Further development of foreign trade channels and expansion of exports of high value-added products will reduce the dependence of Ukrainian agribusiness on changes in global food markets. Overall, effective coordination between the state, business, and international partners creates conditions for the recovery and long-term strengthening of the agricultural sector as a strategic element of Ukraine's economy. | ||
