Abstract | This article explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in reshaping modern economic systems under the conditions of digitalization. The introduction outlines the global shift towards digital economies, emphasizing the accelerating integration of AI technologies across key sectors such as industry, services, public administration, and education. The relevance of the study lies in the growing strategic importance of AI in achieving competitive advantages, optimizing business processes, and ensuring sustainable economic growth. The purpose of the research is to assess the current state and potential of AI implementation in economic systems, identify global trends, and determine the challenges and opportunities this presents for Ukraine’s economy. The key tasks include the analysis of international experience in AI deployment, statistical examination of its economic effects, and formulation of proposals for its effective adoption in Ukraine. The methodological framework includes systemic analysis, comparative analysis, statistical data evaluation from global organizations (OECD, PwC, McKinsey, AI House), and synthesis of theoretical and empirical sources. Both quantitative indicators (e.g., investments, labor market effects, business productivity) and qualitative transformations (e.g., changes in business models, new regulatory demands) are analyzed. The results of the study confirm that AI is already exerting significant influence on macroeconomic dynamics, market competition, and employment structures. The paper highlights differences in AI development strategies among countries such as the USA, China, and EU members, showing the widening technological gap. Special focus is given to the Ukrainian context, where digital infrastructure remains underdeveloped, though AI integration is rapidly gaining interest in sectors like agriculture and fintech. The conclusion outlines key policy recommendations to support AI development in Ukraine, including investments in digital infrastructure, fostering innovation ecosystems, and encouraging responsible AI use. The authors also emphasize the need for regulatory frameworks that balance innovation with ethical standards and inclusivity. | ||
