Abstract The article explores the transformational processes in the field of financial management under the influence of global megatrends and the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. It attempts to substantiate the paradigm shift in financial governance in response to contemporary challenges caused by economic instability, climate change, geopolitical fragmentation, technological breakthroughs, and rising social tensions. The study analyzes how megatrends identified by leading international analytical institutions (such as PwC) shape the strategic trajectories of global business development, requiring financial managers to adopt new approaches to decision-making, strategic planning, and risk management. Particular attention is given to the role of artificial intelligence as a key driver of digital transformation in finance, highlighting its capabilities in data analytics, forecasting, process automation, personalization of financial services, and reduction of transaction costs. The paper outlines the benefits of applying deep learning, neural networks, and cloud-based technologies in financial operations. It also examines practical cases of AI implementation in global corporations such as Amazon, BlackRock, and JPMorgan, which illustrate a transition toward sustainable development principles, ESG investing, and innovation-driven adaptability in financial management models. At the same time, the article addresses the risks associated with accelerated digitalization in the financial sector, including increased cybersecurity threats, the use of outdated or biased data, loss of human oversight over algorithmic processes, opacity in decision-making, and legal challenges in assigning liability. Ethical concerns are also emphasized - particularly regarding personal data protection, the boundaries of AI autonomy, and social implications such as the transformation of labor markets due to automation. The absence of a harmonized regulatory framework for AI in finance is underscored as a barrier to international cooperation and a complication for the legal governance of technological innovation. The article concludes with a call for a transition to a flexible, strategically oriented, and technologically empowered model of financial management that integrates the efficiency of digital tools with ethical, social, and environmental principles. The findings may be of interest to researchers, finance and economics professionals, IT specialists, and executives involved in developing digital transformation strategies in response to global megatrends.
