Abstract | The article explores the role of insight tour operating in managing the sustainable development of regional tourism in Ukraine during its post-war recovery period. This research focuses on how the unique characteristics of insight tour operating, which emphasizes local resources, cultural authenticity, and ecological responsibility, can become a driving force for the revitalization of regions affected by military actions. By integrating principles of sustainable tourism, insight tour operating fosters economic, social, and environmental benefits, making it a critical component of national recovery strategies. The study highlights the potential of Ukraine’s national tourism assets, such as historical landmarks, cultural traditions, and natural landscapes, as foundational elements for developing competitive tourism products. Insight tour operating plays a vital role in addressing the challenges faced by the tourism industry, including infrastructure damage, economic instability, and disrupted supply chains caused by the war. The research also underscores the importance of ecological trends and their integration into regional strategies to ensure that tourism contributes to environmental preservation and the sustainable use of resources. A key contribution of this article is its examination of the socio-economic impact of insight tour operating. It emphasizes the creation of employment opportunities, the stimulation of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the promotion of social cohesion within communities. Furthermore, the study illustrates how tourism initiatives can enhance the visibility of underdeveloped or lesser-known regions, thereby expanding the scope of national tourism and fostering regional integration. The research adopts a methodological framework that combines systemic and comparative analyses of existing tourism models and policies. It utilizes both quantitative and qualitative data to assess the dynamics of tourism operators’ activities, including trends in the number of active operators and the volume of services provided over recent years. These findings are contextualized within the broader socio-political and economic landscape of post-war Ukraine. In conclusion, the article positions insight tour operating as a transformative tool for Ukraine’s post-war recovery. It not only addresses immediate economic and infrastructural challenges but also establishes a framework for long-term, sustainable development. By leveraging its rich cultural and natural heritage, supported by innovative management practices, Ukraine can rebuild its tourism industry to become a cornerstone of its national recovery. | ||
