Abstract The article examines the strategy of the circular model of business development management, analyzes the risks and prospects for Ukraine. Based on the analysis of scientific works of scholars, the essence of the concepts of “business model”, “business management strategy”, “circular economy” is determined. The article analyzes the basic principles of the 3R (reduce, reuse and recycle) economy of the closed cycle and the means of its functioning. The author examines in detail 5 main circular models (circular supply chain, product life cycle extension, product as a service, resource recycling, zero waste design) and analyzes their interaction graphically. Also, the main aspects of functioning of these models at three levels are substantiated: market value, ecosystem level, and business and cost level. The experience of enterprises operating in the EU on the effectiveness of the implementation of the studied business models in their activities is presented, which in turn proves the effectiveness and feasibility of their implementation by Ukrainian enterprises. The study analyzes the risks and problems in the implementation of circular business management models and its development, namely, economic, social and environmental ones. Measures are proposed to ensure the gradual transition of domestic enterprises from a linear to a circular economy in order to minimize the impact of these problems and risks on the activities of business structures. It is established that by introducing business models into the production stages, companies manage to increase their revenues, create additional jobs and save a significant part of resources. It is worth noting that the article presents several examples of the implementation and use of circular business models, so prospects for further research can be made in the direction of studying other examples of their application, developing effective measures to stimulate the transition to a circular economy at the state level.
