Abstract The article is devoted to the topical topic of optimization of the socio-psychological climate in labor collectives. The importance of a positive psychological climate for the successful functioning of the organization, in particular its impact on productivity, staff turnover, and achievement of the company's goals, is substantiated. The introduction defines the purpose of the study – the analysis of issues related to the socio-psychological climate, its measurement, and improvement. The literature review examines the work of domestic and foreign scientists on the factors of climate formation, its structure, and diagnostic methods. The author's research methodology, which combines theoretical analysis and an empirical survey among former employees of DTEK Pavlogradugol PJSC, is described in detail. The results of the study provide a thorough definition of the socio-psychological climate and describe its components and key factors of influence. The main methods of climate diagnostics and strategies for its improvement are presented. The empirical part analyzes the results of a survey, identifying problematic aspects: dissatisfaction with the leadership style, lack of motivation, lack of career development, and stressful situations. At the same time, there are positive aspects - satisfaction with the work of the teams and the general atmosphere. The key result is the authors' model for optimizing the social and psychological climate for DTEK Pavlogradugol PJSC, which provides for a comprehensive impact on climate formation factors through several measures: improving management style, improving communication, recognition system, professional development, well-being programs, regular surveys, stress management. Detailed recommendations for the implementation of the model are provided. The results provide companies with effective tools to improve internal communications, increase productivity, and retain valuable personnel.
