Abstract This paper explores the critical importance of strategic management and business planning in sustaining and adapting enterprise operations under the conditions of martial law, characterized by severe economic, logistical, and regulatory challenges. The urgency of the topic stems from the ongoing geopolitical conflicts which significantly affect business operations, necessitating robust and adaptive strategic frameworks to ensure continuity and competitiveness. The objective of this study was to develop and analyze mechanisms of strategic management that can effectively respond to the rapid changes in the market and regulatory environment caused by martial law. The research tasks involved examining the impact of economic restrictions, logistical disruptions, and regulatory changes on business operations and identifying strategies that could mitigate these impacts. Research methods included a systematic review of existing literature on business resilience, strategic planning, and project management under crisis conditions. Case studies from businesses operating in conflict zones were analyzed to understand their adaptive strategies. A qualitative approach, primarily through interviews and document analysis, provided a detailed understanding of the real-time challenges faced by enterprises. Results showed that businesses that swiftly adapt their strategies based on an integrated approach to strategic planning and project management are more likely to sustain operations and achieve long-term development. The study highlighted the necessity for businesses to enhance their agility, focus on digital transformation, and maintain robust communication with all stakeholders. Conclusions of this research underline that effective strategic management and business planning are indispensable in environments disrupted by war. Companies must foster resilience, not only to survive but to thrive. Strategic plans need to be dynamic, allowing for quick adjustments to the rapidly changing external conditions while ensuring that all business activities are aligned with the overarching strategic goals. Furthermore, the integration of sustainability into business strategies has proven to be beneficial not only for immediate recovery but also for long-term success in volatile markets. This paper contributes to the academic and practical understanding of strategic management in crisis conditions, offering a comprehensive framework for businesses facing similar disruptive environments. The findings can assist policymakers and business leaders in designing frameworks that enhance the resilience and adaptability of enterprises
