| Abstract | With the emergence of crypto currency in the financial markets, there is a growing need to establish effective and reliable mechanisms to protect digital assets. Ukraine, like many other countries, faces the problem of ensuring security and protection against risks associated with crypto currencies. One way to mitigate these risks is through the use of crypto insurance. However, the development of the crypto insurance market in Ukraine faces many challenges and obstacles, including the lack of clear legislation, which creates uncertainty and risk for both insurers and consumers. Many traditional insurance companies do not fully understand the crypto currency market and its peculiarities. This makes it difficult to develop effective insurance products that meet customer needs. In addition, many insurers do not have sufficient information about the possibilities and benefits of crypto insurance. This makes it difficult to promote this type of insurance to potential customers and is an obstacle to market development. To solve these problems, the government, insurers, regulators, and the public need to work together to create the right legal environment, increase education and awareness, and develop innovative insurance products that meet the needs of Ukraine's crypto currency market. Addressing these issues is important for the further development of the crypto insurance market in Ukraine. This paper discusses the reasons for the popularity of crypto currencies and the importance of adapting foreign experience to the Ukrainian context. The paper also analyzes the threats that exist in the crypto currency environment and suggests strategies to overcome them. The results of the study will help insurers better understand the risks associated with crypto currencies and develop appropriate insurance products to protect companies and investors in this sector. | ||
