| Abstract | The article is dedicated to the study of unemployment in Ukraine and its socioeconomic analysis. This problem is one of the main and is the factor that does not allow the Ukrainian economy to develop actively. The article identifies the positive and negative consequences of the unemployment problem in Ukraine, which threaten socioeconomic destabilization of the country. The main factors that create such a macroeconomic problem as unemployment are investigated. Graphic analysis shows that the dynamics of unemployment is only increasing, and therefore the employment policy is ineffective. Particular attention is paid to substantiating the need to reduce this level to a minimum through active public policy. It has been investigated that high unemployment leads to significant economic losses and increased social tension. There is a bias in the pace of research, in connection with the problems of statistical accounting of state statistics. To reduce the impact of factors affecting the unemployment rate in Ukraine, it is proposed to use a systematic approach to problem solving. Given that the functioning of the labor market depends to a large extent on the influence of external factors, the imperative of improving the mechanisms for its regulation is determined. It is revealed that the necessary condition for balancing the labor market is investment in the economy of the country, with the level of investment investment correlates with the level of unemployment. The foreign models of successful regulation of employment and unemployment are described, and on the basis of them are offered mechanisms and tools for overcoming this problem in Ukraine. Comparing the experience of foreign countries, the main directions were identified, following which Ukraine will be able to reduce the impact of negative factors on the level of unemployment, and could stop its growth. Taking into account the foreign experience of effective regulation of employment and combating unemployment it is concluded that the introduction of experience of other countries in different spheres of life will allow, if not eliminate the problem, because it was not possible to solve it in any other country, at least to reduce its impact on the development of the economy in Ukraine. | ||
