Abstract The article presents data on air temperature and precipitation from October 2021 to September 2022, as well as analyzes them in comparison with the average long-term data (for 30 years – from 1991 to 2020). Observations of changes in weather conditions during October 2021 – September 2022 (agricultural year), conducted by employees of the Uman weather station according to a methodical program. Based on the materials of the obtained data, their analysis is presented compared to the typical ones (average for 30 years – from 1991 to 2020) for the region. A characteristic feature of this agricultural year was a favorable temperature background and sufficient rainfall. The average air temperature in the agricultural year was 9.2° С, e it was only 0.4° С higher than the long-term average. At the same time, in the cold period (December – March) the total excess temperature was 6,5° С, and in the warm period (April – September) the total decrease was 0,2° С. The total amount of precipitation for the year was 452 mm, which is 134 mm less than the long-term average. For the 2021–2022 agricultural year, the average annual air temperature was characterized by a value of 9.2 °С, which is why it was 0.4 °С or 4 % higher than the traditional long-term temperature. The amount of precipitation amounted to 452 mm, which is 134 mm less than the long-term average, or 77 % of the norm. During the cold period (October 2021 – March 2022), 167 mm of precipitation fell, which was only 70 % of the norm, and during the warm period (April–September) their amount was 288 mm, or 82 % of the norm.
