Abstract | Managing the investment attractiveness of horticultural enterprises in Ukraine requires a study of the current state of horticulture in retrospect. The purpose of the article is to analyze and assess trends in the current state of horticulture in Ukraine in the context of the Program of development of horticulture in Ukraine to 2025 to analyze the current areas of investment attractiveness management of enterprises in the industry. The information base of the study is reporting materials of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. The methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach to the identification of problems of management of investment attractiveness of horticultural and economic and statistical approach (regression analysis, correlation analysis). The level of development of horticulture by indicators (total area of plantations, yield, gross harvest, sales, marketability, sales price, sales revenue, net profit of economic entities, the level of profitability under the NACE code 01.2 Growing of perennial crops) are analyzed. The study of the current state of horticulture is important for managing the investment attractiveness of horticultural enterprises, as it made possible to identify the following features: first, reducing the total area of perennial crops and reducing the area of plantations at fruiting age; second, relative indicators indicate the highest intensity of reduction of the area of peach, apple, grape, pear, cherry, plum plantations; third,reduction of plantation areas in agricultural enterprises, and reduction of the share of plantation area of enterprises from 33.1% in 2015 to 29.3% in 2019; fourth, the dynamics of the area of plantings of crops of perennial enterprises was determined by the level of profitability of horticultural enterprises; fifth, a positive result of horticulture is to increase the yield of perennial crops and their gross harvest. Thus, the analysis of the current state of horticulture contributes to a better understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the current state of horticulture to manage the investment attractiveness of horticultural enterprises, which is under the influence of numerous internal and external threats. | ||
