Characteristics of the functioning of higher agricultural educational institutions in the market of educational services

Abstract The article examines the functioning of higher agricultural educational institutions in the market of educational services, identifies groups of environmental factors: political and legal environment, economic, international environment, socio-cultural, demographic, scientific and technical unit, natural and environmental; and their impact, which must be taken into account to ensure the development of agricultural universities. It is substantiated that the factors of the economic environment should be under the constant control of the higher education institution in terms of their impact on its strategic goals. The changes in globalization processes taking place in the ways and forms of cognition, which in combination with the processes of systemic transformation lead to a change in the place of higher education in the country's economy and the world economy, are analyzed. The preconditions for the development of new approaches to managing the development of a modern system of higher agricultural education in the direction of increasing competitiveness are considered. Components of competitive potential, strengths of higher agricultural educational institutions in the context of scientific and innovative activities and their specific features manifested in its structure, branches, educational and scientific base, educational process, the presence of anatomical museums, etc. It is substantiated that the implementation of quality educational services is possible within the framework of an individual approach and focus on practice-oriented skills. Specific features (differences) of agrarian free economic zones are formed: the structure differs from the structure of classical free economic zones; branches of departments are located directly in the conditions of production; specifics of the educational and research base; the educational process requires compliance with the principles of clarity with the manufacture of natural samples; the need for anatomical museums; implementation of services is possible within the individual approach; focus on practice-oriented skills.
