| Abstract | This article discusses the essence, meaning and basics of strategic management, which is necessary for the effective operation of the enterprise. In the economy of Ukraine there are successive stages of increasing instability of the environment in which the organization operates. The rate of this growth is much higher than the world average. The effective functioning of enterprises in these conditions necessitates the accelerated development of the concept of strategic management, strategy development, methods, scenarios and means of effective management systems. The article proves that the company’s strategy is the basis of strategic planning, through which the company considers a set of problems associated with the purposeful reorientation of the new range and range of products, introduction and use of new technologies, marketing development, improvement of the enterprise management structure, timely and high-quality training and retraining. The main problems of enterprise management and the importance of strategic management as the basis for the functioning of business structures in unstable economic conditions are also considered. Peculiarities of strategic management and its main tasks are determined. Two concepts of strategic management and their importance in the process of enterprise activity are given and characterized. It is also proved that companies that have a strategy and implement strategic management, always have the opportunity to behave consistently and systematically in their business, in particular in a dynamic market environment in general, which increases the likelihood of achieving their goals. Thus, looking at the changes taking place in the economic environment of the country there is an urgent need to develop and implement the concept of strategic management, which will not only help solve a particular problem, but also help increase the efficiency of economic activity. | ||
