Abstract In the conditions of rapid technological development in the agrarian sector and application of advanced technologies in crop growing as well as in grain production, the provision of farm enterprises with proper machinery systems is of great importance. This influences the rate and structure of value added. The aim of the article is to determine the influence of the provision of grain production with fixed assets on the rate and structure of added value. Scientific researches were carried out basing on the following methods: monographic, economic-statistical, abstract-logical. During the last two decades the provision of farm enterprises with agricultural machinery decreased considerably. Noticeable decrease of provision with grain combines is observed as well. Nevertheless, the application of corresponding machinery system in winter wheat production, for example, intensive resource saving technology makes it possible to increase crop yield to 3,4 c/ha in comparison with the traditional technology and decrease the cost price of grain hundredweight to 22,9%. Herewith, the increase of value added will be 1868,35 hrn./ha. Therefore, with the application of advanced technologies combined with proper machinery system in grain production it is possible to increase the rate of value added by decreasing absolute costs.
Key words fixed assets, advanced technology, added value, amortization, income.
